Our view

Looking across the ocean, a corn field, or factory in midday, we are awed by His creation. Looking under a microscope at a single cell with its intricate workings, we are awed by His creation. Both observations can be captivating.

I was discussing a situation with friends and found it quite interesting to hear the various insights. Some analysis were microscopic and focused on a single point while others were panoramic. These different assessments gave rise to an improved solution.

When analysing a situation remember to look with both lenses; microscopic and panoramic.

Growth

For several months I have meditated and verbally commented on the growth of the Church. My inquiry and concern has focused on "roots and vines". Plants need roots to anchor themselves, for water, nutrients, etc. and vines for growth, air, sunshine, etc. Both roots and vines are essential. What is the status of the Church "plant" today? Are we growing vines? Are we growing roots? Both?

I have been reading "Experiencing the Depths of Jesus Christ" by Jeanne Guyon.
I highy recommend the book.
The Epilogue is a definite "must read".

Rejection

Ever feel rejection? Ever feel rejection by a non-believer, a fellow believer, a friend, a loved one, or a group of people? I have. Its awful!!! But, consider the ramifications and often hidden blessing. I finally got the message while reading "Red Moon Rising" the other day.

Jesus was rejected by ....... . Now, I have placed my rejections in perspective. Perhaps I have a minute insight into His rejection; a micro drop, a nano drop in comparison. Now, I thank Him for teaching me that rejection is tough but His love is so awesome. I rejected Him for years, yet He accepted the pain and Loved me. He even forgave me!

When you have a pity party, you are the only one who shows up. Accept the pain, love, forgive, and praise Him. Suddenly, the pain of rejection is gone.
